What is included in the box with the Maxi-Cosi Fame?
The Maxi-Cosi Fame stroller comes in one box, including the frame with shopping basket and powerbank as well as the stroller seat with bumper bar and canopy. The baby car seat adapters are also included.
Is the Maxi-Cosi Fame suitable for newborns?
Yes! The Maxi-Cosi Fame is made for children from birth to 22 kg (around 4 years old). The seat can be used from birth thanks to its full lie-flat position, both parent- and road facing. For ultimate comfort you can match the Fame stroller with the Fame Carrycot, which can be used from birth up to 9kg. You can also combine the Fame with a compatible baby car seat to make it a full from-birth 3-in-1 travel system.
When should I move my baby from the carrycot to the seat unit?
We advise you to use the carrycot as long as you can which is to the 9 kg of your baby maximum. However we know that babies grow at a different pace and you have to move your baby from the carrycot as soon as the little one can rotate or stand upright. Then your baby needs to be attached with a harness like you have in the seat of the Maxi-Cosi Fame.
How long can I use the Maxi-Cosi Fame?
The Maxi-Cosi Fame can be used from birth to 22 kg (around 4 years old) thanks to its multiple recline positions including lie-flat. The high back rest and soft inlay with high-density foam provide extra comfort for both small babies and toddlers. For small babies, we do recommend to use the Fame in combination with the Fame Carrycot for the most cocooning comfort from birth.
Can I fold the Maxi-Cosi Fame with the seat?
Yes. The Maxi-Cosi Fame can be folded while the seat is still on, both in parent-facing and in road-facing position for the most convenient folding for you. It folds into a compact, self-standing package so you can easily store it away when it is not used.
Can I fold the Maxi-Cosi Fame with my 2-in1 footmuff.
Yes you can. The package may be a bit less compact but you can still fold your Fame when the 2-in-1 footmuff is installed.
Is the 5-point harness of the Fame adjustable?
Yes. The 5-point harness of the Fame is easy to adjust thanks to its sliding adjustment system, ensuring always a perfect fit for your child without the hassle of adjusting the harness manually.
Is the canopy of the Maxi-Cosi Fame UV protected?
Yes. The canopy of the Maxi-Cosi Fame Carrycot is UV protected, with a protection factor (UPF) of 50+.
Can I put a baby car seat on the Maxi-Cosi Fame?
Yes. The Maxi-Cosi Fame is compatible with Maxi-Cosi baby car seats. The car seat adapters are already included in the package. For the most lightweight combination, the Maxi-Cosi Fame is also compatible with the Coral Slide Pro's soft carrier. The unique adapter for this is sold separately.
Does the Maxi-Cosi Fame have four-wheel suspension?
Yes. The Maxi-Cosi Fame comes with 4-wheel suspension, ensuring smooth strolls for both you and your little one. The front wheels feature a swivel lock and the suspension on the rear wheels is bi-lateral, to make strolling over uneven paths even smoother.
Can I hang a nursery bag on the Maxi-Cosi Fame?
Yes, it is possible to hang a nursery bag on the Maxi-Cosi Fame with a strict maximum of 2kg. There are additional hooks integrated on the inside of the pusbhar to make bringing your nursery bag even easier. We recommend to always keep an eye on your stoller and do not leave your child unattended.

How long does the Fame LumiRide feature work when my powerbank is fully charged?
When your powerbank is fully charged, the LumiRide will last for about 2 hours depending on the brightness used.

Can I wash the seat fabrics of the Maxi-Cosi Fame?
Yes. The fabrics of the inlay are removable and can be washed by hand washed at 30°C. The rest of the seat and canopy fabrics, basket and frame of the Maxi-Cosi Fame can be cleaned by using a sponge with soap and water.
