Can I install the RodiFix S Comfort i-Size without the ISOFIX anchorages?
For toddler car seats (up to 4 years with the harness/group 1), the product must be installed using ISOFIX anchorages and the top-tether. From ages 4 up to 12 years old, and when secured with the car seatbelt (group 2/3), the ISOFIX anchorages are optional.
We recommend using the ISOFIX installation method, as this makes the seat more stable. For example, when driving on a roundabout, the seat and the child will stay securely in place and not move.
Can I install a car seat in the front passenger seat?
Baby and toddler car seats can also be installed in the front passenger seat, as long as there is no frontal airbag. Alternatively, the airbag can be disabled. For car seats for larger children (15 months up to 12 years), we advise you to position the passenger seat as far back as possible when an airbag is present.
Do three car seats fit in the back of my car?
The RodiFix S Comfort i-Size is a compact car seat at only 44 cm wide. It has an adjustable width to fit growing children. Whether three car seats fit in your car depends on its size. In larger cars, three typically fit in a row. Visit your local baby specialty store for expert advice on choosing and installing the right seats for your vehicle. It is important that each seat is correctly installed.
How can I put this car seat in a recline position?
A handle located near the front centre of the seat allows you to pull it forward for a more relaxed position. This can only be done without a child in the seat.
How much can the RodiFix S Comfort i-Size recline?
The RodiFix S Comfort i-Size has three relaxing recline positions, so your child will always be comfortable on the move. The recline angle is from 8 – 16°.
What is the function of the AirProtect® Safety Cushions?
AirProtect® Safety Cushions in the headrest feature side impact technology, providing not only protection and reducing the risk of head injuries, but also offering soft cushioning for little sleepyheads.
Is the RodiFix S Comfort i-Size adjustable in width?
Yes, the RodiFix S Comfort i-size is adjustable in width from 44 up to 51 cm by pushing the 2 side wings outwards.
Is the RodiFix S Comfort i-Size adjustable in height?
Yes, the headrest can be adjusted to one of 10 different heights, ranging from 52.5 up to 72.5 cm. This is measured on the inside, from the seat up to the top of the headrest.
How long can I use the RodiFix S Comfort i-Size for?
The RodiFix S Comfort i-Size is designed for children aged approximately 3.5 up to 12 years old (100 – 150 cm), so more than eight years! To ensure the safety of your child(ren) during the entire lifespan of the car seat, make sure that the product is not damaged.
When do I have to switch from a toddler seat (up to 105 cm/4 years/group 1) to a booster seat (from 100 cm/3.5 years/group 2/3)?
For the safety of your child, we advise using a toddler car seat (group 1) for as long as possible. Switch to a booster seat (group 2/3) when your child has reached the maximum weight limit or when their shoulders touch the headrest in its highest position. As long as their head is fully supported by the car seat, we advise you not to switch. This will ensure the best protection for your child.
