  Is Pebble Slide Pro an i-Size compliant car seat?

  Yes, Pebble Slide Pro complies with the latest and safest EU R129/04 regulation, meaning it fits all i-Size compliant cars and has passed frontal and side-impact crash tests.

  What makes Pebble Slide Pro unique?

  Pebble Slide Pro makes driving, carrying, flying, and using the pushchair effortless. Weighing just 3.9 kg, it offers a full lie-flat position and ClimaFlow to prevent overheating. Paired with FamilyFix Slide Pro, SLIDETECH®2 rotates and slides 27 cm for easy, backache-free access.

  For what age range can I use Pebble Slide Pro?

  Pebble Slide Pro can be used from birth (approximately 40 cm) up to 24 months (87 cm).

  How long should I use the Newborn inlay?

  You must use the Newborn inlay until your baby is 60 cm. This is roughly equivalent to 3 months old.

  Is the lie-flat recline position mandatory?

  Babies sleep best lying flat, but when they’re awake they often prefer sitting upright. For little ones between 40 – 60 cm, the lie-flat position supports healthier breathing and comfort. Pebble Slide Pro makes it easy to find the perfect position – driving, flying, using the pushchair, or carrying.

  Can I use Pebble Slide Pro in full lie-flat position in the car?

  Yes, Pebble Slide Pro offers full flexibility. Whether installed in the car using the FamilyFix Slide Pro base or secured with the vehicle seat belt, your baby can remain in the optimal lie-flat position.

  Can I adjust the position of Pebble Slide Pro's carry handle?

  Like our other baby car seats, you can switch between rocking mode (carry handle up) and a stable position (carry handle down).

  Can I adjust the carry handle position with one hand?

  You must always use both hands when changing the position of the carry handle. That’s why it isn’t possible to change the handle with one hand.

  What is the easy-in harness?

  The 3-point safety harness with easy-in feature makes it easy to get your child in and out of their seat. When unbuckling the harness, the shoulder pads spring upwards and stay open to make room for installing your baby.

  How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?

  To fasten the harness correctly, pull the harness adjustment strap until it fits snugly against your child’s body. When properly tightened, no more than one finger should fit between the strap and your child.

  Which car seat base is compatible with Pebble Slide Pro?

  The FamilyFix Slide Pro base is compatible with Pebble Slide Pro, enhancing safety, comfort, and convenience. It features SLIDETECH®2 that allows the seat to slide out up to 27 cm at a wide angle and fits in most cars, regardless of wheel arch shape.

  How does SLIDETECH®2 work?

  SLIDETECH®2 is built into the FamilyFix Slide Pro car seat base, meaning you can rotate and slide your car seat right out of the car. It slides out up to 27 cm, making it easier than ever to lift your child in and out, no backache or bumped heads.

  How do I operate SLIDETECH®2?

  Paired with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base, SLIDETECH®2 lets you rotate the car seat 90° (facing your child toward you) and slide it up to 27 cm out of the car – easily with one hand and without any extra steps to activate the sliding function.

  Do I always have to use the sliding technology?

  Use SLIDETECH®2 whenever you need or want to. If preferred, you can also use the one-hand rotation function without sliding. Please note: the sliding technology only works in combination with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base.

  What's the difference between SLIDETECH® and SLIDETECH®2?

  While the original SLIDETECH® offers a 17 cm slide, SLIDETECH®2 goes further – providing a 27 cm slide-out, a wider pivot angle, and greater vehicle compatibility. SLIDETECH®2 is the smarter, more convenient choice for parents.

  Can I install Pebble Slide Pro using just the vehicle belt?

  Yes, you can use the Pebble Slide Pro without the FamilyFix Slide Pro base. While the base offers maximum convenience and safety, installing the car seat with the vehicle’s seat belt gives you the flexibility to switch between cars.

  Can you only use the Pebble Slide Pro rearward-facing?

  Yes, you are not allowed to travel with an infant car seat in a forward-facing position. That’s why we’ve added an anti-misuse system to the FamilyFix Slide Pro base that prevents installing the Pebble Slide Pro forward-facing.

  What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?

  G-CELL technology is built into the side panels and headrest, absorbing impact forces and redirecting them away from your child.This ensures better protection for your child, especially for their shoulders, head, and neck.

  Pebble Slide Pro is TÜV approved. What does that mean?

  TÜV certification means the Pebble Slide Pro can travel with you on aeroplanes. It’s safety-tested and meets international standards, so you and your little one can fly with confidence. It can be used in any recline position, including fully lie-flat.

  Is Pebble Slide Pro approved for use on aircraft?

  Yes, the Pebble Slide Pro is TÜV-approved, meaning you can take it on aircraft. It’s safety-tested, meets international standards, and certified for use in all recline positions during flight, including fully lie-flat.

  Pebble Slide Pro is certified by AGR. What does this mean?

  AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken) is a trusted German association promoting back health and ergonomics. Pebble Slide Pro is AGR-certified as back-friendly, making child installation easier for parents and providing greater comfort for your child.

  What does Eco Care mean?

  What do I do if my Maxi-Cosi product needs to be repaired?

  If your Maxi-Cosi product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will either send you a replacement part or make a repair free of charge under our 24-month warranty or Lifetime Warranty. This also covers the cost of shipping. If the product cannot be repaired, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Maxi-Cosi of the same model and colour.

   

  If that is not available, it will be replaced by the closest model and available colour. If you made your purchase from a Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer, please take the item back to them to arrange for it to be repaired or replaced free of charge. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team. You’ll need your original purchase receipt and your Lifetime Warranty card if you are claiming under our Lifetime Warranty. If you are claiming under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need your original purchase receipt. Please note that repairs do not extend the warranty.

  What if I need a repair that is not covered under warranty?

  Repairs not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual. If you bought the item second-hand you are also unable to claim under warranty.

   

  We’re committed to reducing waste and we want you to enjoy your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible. That’s why we offer a repairs service for all our customers. We keep repair costs as low as possible, but prices will vary due to the cost of the materials and the length of time it takes to do the repair. Repair rates can be obtained via your retailer or from our customer care team here. If the repair exceeds the standard rate you will be notified and asked for your authorization before we’ll proceed. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, which can help you to enjoy using your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible.

  How do I send my Maxi-Cosi in for repair?

  It’s easy to send your Maxi-Cosi for a repair. If you bought it from an authorized dealer, take it back to them. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team.. Remember, if you are claiming the repair under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need to show proof of purchase. If you are claiming it under our Lifetime Warranty, you’ll need proof of purchase and your Lifetime Warranty card, which was sent to you after registration.   How long will my repair take?

  We understand that life without your Maxi-Cosi product could be challenging for you and your family. That’s why we do our best to make repairs as quickly as possible. Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days, not including:

   

  • Special order parts, which require 7-10 business days.
  • Transit time, which may vary, depending on the destination.

  In some cases, we can get the repair back to you sooner. In rare cases, it may take longer. If you have returned your Maxi-Cosi product to your retailer for the repair, turnaround times may be longer.

  What is the warranty on my Maxi-Cosi product?

  When you buy a Maxi-Cosi product from our website or your Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer you can be confident that it will reach you in excellent condition. If not, we’ll put it right straight away.

  We promise that if a Maxi-Cosi product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced without charge, or a spare part will be sent to you.

  What is covered under warranty?

  Our standard warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in normal conditions and in accordance with our user manuals.

  What is not covered by the warranty?

  Examples of normal wear and tear include:

  • Wheels that have worn down through regular use.
  • The natural fading of colours over extended time and use.
  • Damage to the material as a result or daily use, such as rips, burns, holes, or worn patches.

  As part of our commitment to sustainability, we aim to help you extend the lifecycle of your Maxi-Cosi. So if your Maxi-Cosi product is damaged as a result of normal wear and tear or an accident, you can take advantage of our value for money repair service. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, to help your Maxi-Cosi product continue to be enjoyed for longer.
