Age-range
Pearl S can be used from birth with the Newborn inlay (sold separately) and accommodates children up to 4 years old (105 cm). With Pearl S, you won’t need to worry about your little one outgrowing their car seat too quickly, making it a lasting and practical choice for families.

How do I install the Pearl S in my car?
Your Pearl S should be installed on the compatible FamilyFix S ISOFIX base (sold separately). The Pearl S cannot be installed with a vehicle belt. Have a look at our instruction videos to see how to install the Pearl S and FamilyFix S in your car.
Can I use Pearl S in multiple positions in the car?
Pearl S can be used in the rearward-facing (until min. 15 months) and forward-facing positions, all the way up to 4 years. At Maxi-Cosi, we recommend travelling with your child in the rearward-facing position for as long as possible, as research shows this is the safest way of travelling with children.
From and up to which ages can I use Pearl S?
Pearl S can be used from birth (40 cm) with the Newborn inlay accessory, all the way up to 4 years old (105 cm). Without the Newborn inlay, you can use Pearl S from approx. 3 months (60 cm).
Is the Newborn inlay included with Pearl S?
The Newborn inlay is sold separately as an accessory. With the Newborn inlay, parents can choose whether to use Pearl S from birth or start with a separate baby car seat, like Pebble S, from birth.
What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?
G-CELL is our side impact protection system. An integrated safety feature that’s always activated and spreads side impact forces over the entire car seat structure. It requires no additional installation or activation, which eliminates the risk of misuse and interference with the car interior or other passengers.
How does G-CELL Side Impact Protection work?
The G-CELL technology structure is built into various parts of the car seat, including the side panels and headrest. It offers secure coverage of your child’s car seat for side impact protection in three steps:
1. The precisely engineered panels in the headrest and side wings redirect G-forces.
2. The high-quality materials used in our car seats absorb the impact forces.
3. Our specially designed geometries guide your child’s head into the most secure zone of the headrest for maximum protection.
What does Eco Care mean?
All our car seats are made with sustainable, 100% recycled Eco Care fabrics. Your child will experience the same soft, comfortable, breathable quality you would expect from Maxi-Cosi, without compromising on quality or durability. Our Eco Care fabrics are produced with 75% less energy, 85% less water and 75% less CO2 emissions throughout the production process.
Can I rotate the Pearl S on the FamilyFix S ISOFIX base?
