Can I use a parasol with the Stella?
Yes. You can easily fit the Maxi-Cosi Parasol on the Stella pushchair using the parasol clip included.
What age range is the Stella seat suitable for?
The Stella pushchair is designed for children from birth to around 15kg (around 3½ years old). To give your baby optimal protection, we recommend using the Stella with a Maxi-Cosi baby car seat or carrycot for the first 6 months. The maximum weight limit for a Maxi-Cosi baby car seat is 13kg and for the carrycot, 9kg.
Can I hang a nursery bag on the Stella?
Yes, you can hang any Maxi-Cosi nursery bag on the Stella's bag hooks. The maximum weight limit for the bag hooks is 1.5kg and you can fit an extra 0.5kg in the pocket at the back of the seat.
What kind of wheels does the Stella pushchair have?
Stella's 4 wheels are made of PU, a type of high-quality foam rubber that's known for its durability – it's used in skateboard tyres and running shoes. The tyres are filled with foam, so they'll never go flat. And, because they're so shock absorbant, they're great for rough surfaces and bumpy roads.
How compact is the Stella stroller when folded?
The Maxi-Cosi Stella will fit in the boot of most urban cars if you fold it with the seat unit on the frame. If you're using the Stella with a carrycot or baby car seat you can fold the frame without the seat to make it more compact.
How do I fold the Maxi-Cosi Stella stroller?​
There are 2 simple ways to fold the Stella stroller: With the seat unit on the frame The seat needs to be in forward-facing postion with the backrest put forward. For more compact folding, fully lower the handlebar. The stroller can stand upright when folded and locks automatically. Without the seat on the frame The stroller will fold flat without the seat unit. To fold, push the central button below the seat frame and rotate the front wheels inside the frame. Front wheels should be in swivel mode.
Does the Stella have suspension?
Yes, the Stella has rear-wheel suspension. This, combined with tyres made of high-quality foam rubber, ensures a smooth ride even on rough or uneven surfaces.
Can I remove the wheels of the Stella pushchair?
Yes, it's possible to remove all 4 wheels. Just press a small pin next to the wheel you want to remove with a thin tool like a screwdriver. Removing the wheels means the pushchair will be more compact when folded.
Why does the Stella have a T-bar?
The T-bar gives children extra protection, stopping them from sliding down while putting on the 5-point safety harness. You can remove it with a simple push to get your child in the pushchair more easily. Children also love the T-bar as they can put their hands on it and pretend to be a pilot!
How big is the Stella pushchair's sun canopy?
The sun canopy is extra large and can be easily extended to cover the child just by pulling a zip. It combines with the seat's protective sides to keep baby cosy and snug. A peek-a-boo window allows you to keep an eye on baby.
Can I wash the comfort cushion and cover of the Stella in the washing machine?
Yes. both the Stella cover and the comfort cushion are machine washable. We recommend using a delicates setting at a maximum of 30°C.
How do I adjust the height of the safety harness?
You can easily adjust the height of the safety harness from the back of the Stella seat. Just open the back of the seat cover and choose from 3 shoulder heights. You can adjust the safety harness when you use the Stella with or without the comfort cushion.
How do I remove a Maxi-Cosi baby car seat from my pushchair?
There are 2 ways to do this: Push on the 2 grey buttons on the side of the adapters or Push simultaneously on the 2 grey buttons just next to the carrying handle on the side of the car seat At the same time, pull the seat upwards. Make sure you always put the car seat on the pushchair in a rear-facing, not forward-facing postion. When combined with the Stella. Any Maxi-Cosi baby car seat is very easy to release with one hand thanks to the memory buttons.
