  Is Pearl Slide Pro an i-Size compliant car seat?

  Yes, Pearl Slide Pro complies with the latest and safest EU R129/04 regulation, meaning it fits all i-Size compliant cars and has passed frontal and side-impact crash tests.

  What makes Pearl Slide Pro unique?

  Pearl Slide Pro ensures peace of mind on every journey. It offers five recline positions for superior sleep comfort. Paired with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base, SLIDETECH®2 rotates and slides the seat 27 cm toward you for easy, backache-free access.

  From and to what age can I use Pearl Slide Pro?

  Pearl Slide Pro fits children from 3 months (61 cm) to 4 years (105 cm), or directly from birth (40 cm) with the Newborn inlay accessory. For safety, always ensure the seat is undamaged and properly adjusted to your child’s size, age, and needs.

  Is the Newborn inlay included with the Pearl Slide Pro?

  The Newborn inlay is sold separately as an accessory, and allows your little one to use the Pearl Slide Pro from birth (40–60 cm).

  What is the maximum allowed child weight for the Pearl Slide Pro?

  The maximum allowed child weight is 17.5 kg, which corresponds to approximately 4 years of age and 105 cm in height.

  What is the easy-in harness?

  The 5-point safety harness with easy-in feature makes getting your child in and out their seat simple. When unbuckling the harness, the shoulder pads spring upwards and stay open to make room for easy access.

  How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?

  To fasten the harness correctly, ensure your child is securely seated. Pull the adjuster strap until the harness fits snugly against your child’s body—no more than one finger should fit between the harness and your child.

  Can I rotate the Pearl Slide Pro on the base in any position?

  Yes, you can easily and safely rotate the seat in any position, from fully upright to fully reclined. Please be aware that the FamilyFix Slide Pro base is sold separately.

  How do I operate the rotation function?

  When the seat is in driving position, you can unlock the rotation with the handles on both sides. When the seat is in lateral position, you can simply rotate the seat with one hand without touching the handle.

  Which car seat base is compatible with Pearl Slide Pro?

  The FamilyFix Slide Pro base is compatible with Pearl Slide Pro, enhancing safety, comfort, and convenience. It features SLIDETECH®2 that allows the seat to slide out up to 27 cm at a wide angle and fits in any car, regardless of wheel arch shape.

  How does SLIDETECH®2 work?

  SLIDETECH®2 is built into the FamilyFix Slide Pro car seat base, letting you rotate and slide your car seat right out of the car. It slides out up to 27 cm, making it easier than ever to lift your child in and out, no backaches or head bangs.

  How do I operate SLIDETECH®2?

  Paired with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base, SLIDETECH®2 lets you rotate the car seat 90° (facing your child toward you) and slide it up to 27 cm out of the car—easily with one hand and without any extra steps to activate the sliding function.

  Do I always have to use the sliding technology?

  Use SLIDETECH®2 whenever you need or want to use it. If preferred, you can also use the one-hand rotation function without sliding. Please note: the sliding technology only works in combination with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base.

  What's the difference between SLIDETECH® and SLIDETECH®2?

  While the original SLIDETECH® offers a 17 cm sliding car seat, SLIDETECH®2 goes further—providing a 27 cm slide-out, a wider pivot angle, and greater vehicle compatibility. SLIDETECH®2 is the smarter, more convenient choice for parents.

  What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?

  G-CELL technology is built into the side panels and headrest, absorbing impact forces and redirecting them away from your child. This ensures better protection for your child, especially for their shoulders, head, and neck.

  What is the G-CELL Bumper and how does it work?

  Pearl Slide Pro comes with a slide-on G-CELL Bumper providing enhanced protection on the window side. Simply slide it onto the exterior of the G-CELL panel to ensure even better side impact force absorption.

  Pearl Slide Pro is certified by AGR. What does this mean?

  AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken) is a trusted German association promoting back health and ergonomics. Pearl Slide Pro is AGR-certified as back-friendly, making child installation easier for parents and providing greater comfort for your child.

  What does Eco Care mean?

  All our car seats are made with sustainable, 100% recycled Eco Care fabrics. They offer the same soft, breathable quality you expect from Maxi-Cosi while using 75% less energy, 85% less water, and cutting CO2 emissions by 75%. Pearl Slide Pro fabrics contain 30 recycled (500 ml) rPET bottles.

  What do I do if my Maxi-Cosi product needs to be repaired?

  If your Maxi-Cosi product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will either send you a replacement part or make a repair free of charge under our 24-month warranty or Lifetime Warranty. This also covers the cost of shipping. If the product cannot be repaired, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Maxi-Cosi of the same model and colour.

   

  If that is not available, it will be replaced by the closest model and available colour. If you made your purchase from a Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer, please take the item back to them to arrange for it to be repaired or replaced free of charge. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team. You’ll need your original purchase receipt and your Lifetime Warranty card if you are claiming under our Lifetime Warranty. If you are claiming under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need your original purchase receipt. Please note that repairs do not extend the warranty.

  What if I need a repair that is not covered under warranty?

  Repairs not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual. If you bought the item second-hand you are also unable to claim under warranty.

   

  We’re committed to reducing waste and we want you to enjoy your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible. That’s why we offer a repairs service for all our customers. We keep repair costs as low as possible, but prices will vary due to the cost of the materials and the length of time it takes to do the repair. Repair rates can be obtained via your retailer or from our customer care team here. If the repair exceeds the standard rate you will be notified and asked for your authorization before we’ll proceed. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, which can help you to enjoy using your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible.

  How do I send my Maxi-Cosi in for repair?

  It’s easy to send your Maxi-Cosi for a repair. If you bought it from an authorized dealer, take it back to them. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team.. Remember, if you are claiming the repair under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need to show proof of purchase. If you are claiming it under our Lifetime Warranty, you’ll need proof of purchase and your Lifetime Warranty card, which was sent to you after registration.   How long will my repair take?

  We understand that life without your Maxi-Cosi product could be challenging for you and your family. That’s why we do our best to make repairs as quickly as possible. Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days, not including:

   

  • Special order parts, which require 7-10 business days.
  • Transit time, which may vary, depending on the destination.

  In some cases, we can get the repair back to you sooner. In rare cases, it may take longer. If you have returned your Maxi-Cosi product to your retailer for the repair, turnaround times may be longer.

  What is the warranty on my Maxi-Cosi product?

  When you buy a Maxi-Cosi product from our website or your Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer you can be confident that it will reach you in excellent condition. If not, we’ll put it right straight away.

  We promise that if a Maxi-Cosi product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced without charge, or a spare part will be sent to you.

  This free warranty takes effect from the date of purchase and there is no need to register. To make a claim, you will simply need your original proof of purchase.

  What is covered under warranty?

  Our standard warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in normal conditions and in accordance with our user manuals.

  What is not covered by the warranty?

  Items not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual.

  Examples of normal wear and tear include:

  • Wheels that have worn down through regular use.
  • The natural fading of colours over extended time and use.
  • Damage to the material as a result or daily use, such as rips, burns, holes, or worn patches.

  As part of our commitment to sustainability, we aim to help you extend the lifecycle of your Maxi-Cosi. So if your Maxi-Cosi product is damaged as a result of normal wear and tear or an accident, you can take advantage of our value for money repair service. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, to help your Maxi-Cosi product continue to be enjoyed for longer.
