  How do I set Indigo Plus up?

  It’s very easy and only takes two steps: unfold the two legs, then press on the middle to unfold the bath. When using the QuickDry newborn insert, attach the clips to the edges of the bath at the top and on each side. Then it’s ready to use.

  How do I fold Indigo Plus?

  This is very easy too! Turn the bath upside down, and push on the bath’s underside to fold it – if you feel any resistance, press on one side then the other, then fold the legs. If you would like to hang it up for drying, open the hanging hook that’s located at the bottom of the bath.  

  How long can I use Indigo Plus for?

  Your little one can use Indigo Plus from day one. It’s suitable for newborns thanks to the QuickDry newborn insert, as well as toddlers up to 4 years old.

  How do I clean the bath?

  Use soap and a damp cloth to wash it. Dry it with a clean towel and store it in a dry place. The QuickDry newborn insert is machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cycle. You can leave it to air dry in a well-ventilated area; do not put in the dryer.

  How do I use the built-in HighSense thermometer?

  To use the HighSense thermometer, simply tap the screen to automatically measure the water temperature. Wait a few seconds for an accurate reading. The colour guide helps you find the perfect bath water temperature for your child: Blue: too cold (<35°C) Green: just right (35°C – 38°C) Red: too hot (>39°C)

  What is HighSense technology?

  This technology allows the thermometer to measure the water at the bottom of the bath where it’s the warmest. When the temperature is measured at the surface, the accuracy is lower because the surface of the water is always colder due to contact with the air. Measuring the water at the bottom ensures a very reliable and accurate measurement, making it safer for your child.

  What is the power source of the thermometer?

  This thermometer contains a small battery. It is rechargeable via an included USB-C cable.

  Does the bath come with a stand?

  No. The Indigo Stand is sold separately.

  Can I store it easily? How big is it once folded?

  Yes, Indigo Plus folds flat for easy storage. Folded dimensions: L 86 x W 51 x H 10 cm.

  Can I hang the bath up anywhere for storage?

  Yes. Open the hanging hook that’s located at the bottom of the bath and hang it on a sturdy attachment that can support the weight of the bath (2.47 kg). Store the bath in a dry place.

  Is the QuickDry newborn insert sold together with the Indigo Plus?

  Yes, the QuickDry newborn insert is included with the Indigo Plus bath.

  What are the advantages of the QuickDry newborn insert?

  The QuickDry newborn insert provides ergonomic support for your baby, ensuring a comfortable and secure bathtime experience. It helps support your newborn while allowing for a safe, soothing bath. The fabric allows the water to pass through it, so your baby is still in contact with the water and kept warm during bathtimes. It also dries quickly so can be used again the next day.

  Is the QuickDry newborn insert suitable for all babies?

  The newborn insert is designed for babies from birth until they grow out of it, making it perfect for babies.

  How do I install the QuickDry newborn insert?

  The QuickDry newborn insert is easy to install and equipped with independent buckles and soft fixing straps. These secure the insert firmly to the edges of the Indigo Plus bath. The robust attachment system ensures stability and safety during use, giving parents peace of mind, allowing them to focus on bathing their baby.

  Is the QuickDry newborn insert height adjustable?

  Yes, you can easily adjust the height of the insert above the water surface to control your baby’s position. This allows you to find the correct and most comfortable level for your baby.

  What is the size of the QuickDry newborn insert?

  The QuickDry newborn insert measures L 46 x W 33 cm. This makes it suitable for babies from birth.

  How many hours can it work until it runs out of battery?

  In standby mode: About 130 days / In working mode: About 5 hours (These will vary depending on the use environment and battery storage).

  How long does it take to fully recharge the battery?

  About 25 minutes to full charge with a 5V 4A charger.

  When the customer receives the bath tub, will the thermometer be working instantly or does the customer need to do something to switch it on?

  It will work instantly by tapping on the screen.

  What do I do if my Maxi-Cosi product needs to be repaired?

  If your Maxi-Cosi product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will either send you a replacement part or make a repair free of charge under our 24-month warranty or Lifetime Warranty. This also covers the cost of shipping. If the product cannot be repaired, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Maxi-Cosi of the same model and colour.

   

  If that is not available, it will be replaced by the closest model and available colour. If you made your purchase from a Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer, please take the item back to them to arrange for it to be repaired or replaced free of charge. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team. You’ll need your original purchase receipt and your Lifetime Warranty card if you are claiming under our Lifetime Warranty. If you are claiming under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need your original purchase receipt. Please note that repairs do not extend the warranty.

  What if I need a repair that is not covered under warranty?

  Repairs not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual. If you bought the item second-hand you are also unable to claim under warranty.

   

  We’re committed to reducing waste and we want you to enjoy your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible. That’s why we offer a repairs service for all our customers. We keep repair costs as low as possible, but prices will vary due to the cost of the materials and the length of time it takes to do the repair. Repair rates can be obtained via your retailer or from our customer care team here. If the repair exceeds the standard rate you will be notified and asked for your authorization before we’ll proceed. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, which can help you to enjoy using your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible.

  How do I send my Maxi-Cosi in for repair?

  It’s easy to send your Maxi-Cosi for a repair. If you bought it from an authorized dealer, take it back to them. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team.. Remember, if you are claiming the repair under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need to show proof of purchase. If you are claiming it under our Lifetime Warranty, you’ll need proof of purchase and your Lifetime Warranty card, which was sent to you after registration.   How long will my repair take?

  We understand that life without your Maxi-Cosi product could be challenging for you and your family. That’s why we do our best to make repairs as quickly as possible. Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days, not including:

   

  • Special order parts, which require 7-10 business days.
  • Transit time, which may vary, depending on the destination.

  In some cases, we can get the repair back to you sooner. In rare cases, it may take longer. If you have returned your Maxi-Cosi product to your retailer for the repair, turnaround times may be longer.

  What is the warranty on my Maxi-Cosi product?

  When you buy a Maxi-Cosi product from our website or your Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer you can be confident that it will reach you in excellent condition. If not, we’ll put it right straight away.

  We promise that if a Maxi-Cosi product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced without charge, or a spare part will be sent to you.

  What is covered under warranty?

  Our standard warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in normal conditions and in accordance with our user manuals.

  What is not covered by the warranty?

  Items not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual.

  Examples of normal wear and tear include:

  • Wheels that have worn down through regular use.
  • The natural fading of colours over extended time and use.
  • Damage to the material as a result or daily use, such as rips, burns, holes, or worn patches.

  As part of our commitment to sustainability, we aim to help you extend the lifecycle of your Maxi-Cosi. So if your Maxi-Cosi product is damaged as a result of normal wear and tear or an accident, you can take advantage of our value for money repair service. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, to help your Maxi-Cosi product continue to be enjoyed for longer.
