  What makes Coral Slide Pro unique?

  Coral Slide Pro is the lightest, reclining baby car seat at just 2.5 kg. It offers a full lie-flat position for driving, strolling, carrying - even hands-free with the Carry strap accessory. Say goodbye to backaches and bumped heads. Paired with FamilyFix Slide Pro, SLIDETECH®2 rotates and slides the seat 27 cm out towards you, making it easier than ever to get your little one in and out of the car. The heavy outer shell remains in the car, giving you greater freedom of movement, while your child stays safe and always shaded under the large sun canopy.

  What makes Pearl XL Slide Pro unique?

  Pearl XL Slide Pro is the all-ages car seat with SLIDETECH®2, designed to simplify daily life for parents. From birth up to 4 years (16.5 kg) use the 5-point harness with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base (sold separately) to effortlessly rotate and slide your child toward you. Once your child reaches 4 years/16.5 kg, switch to booster mode: remove the base, store the harness, use the integrated connectors for stability, and secure with the vehicle belt.

  What are the 4 different age stages that apply to Pearl XL Slide Pro?

  - From 0 – 1 year (40 – 60 cm): Rearward-facing position with Newborn Inlay, using the integrated harness and FamilyFix Slide Pro base. - From 1 – 4 years (61 – 105 cm / 16.5 kg): Rearward-facing position with optional use of the Newborn Inlay (< 75cm), using the integrated harness and FamilyFix Slide Pro base. - From 15 months – 4 years (76 – 105 cm / 16,5 kg): Forward-facing position, using the integrated harness and FamilyFix Slide Pro base. - From 4 – 12 years (100 – 150 cm): Forward-facing position, using the vehicle belt without the base. At this stage, the 360° rotation and SLIDETECH® functions are no longer available. It is advised to install the seat with the integrated connectors for extra safety and stability.

  How does SLIDETECH®2 work?

  SLIDETECH®2 is built into the FamilyFix Slide Pro car seat base, letting you rotate and slide your car seat right out of the car. It slides out up to 27 cm, making it easier than ever to lift your child in and out, no backaches or head bangs.

  How do I operate SLIDETECH®2?

  Paired with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base, SLIDETECH®2 allows you to easily slide the car seat out of the car by rotating it 90° (facing your child towards you) and pulling the seat toward you - this can even be done with one hand. No additional button is needed to activate the sliding function — up to 27 cm.

  Do I always have to use the sliding technology?

  Use SLIDETECH®2 whenever you need or want to use it. If preferred, you can also use the one-hand rotation function without sliding. Please note: the sliding technology only works in combination with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base (sold separately).

  What's the difference between SLIDETECH® and SLIDETECH®2?

  While the original SLIDETECH® delivers a functional 17 cm sliding car seat solution, SLIDETECH®2 takes innovation further - offering a full 27 cm slide-out, a wider pivot angle, and enhanced compatibility with a broader range of vehicles. Designed with comfort, safety, and accessibility in mind, SLIDETECH®2 is the smarter choice for those who seek easier child installation.   How can I use the Carry strap?

  On the Coral Slide Pro, you'll find three black loops — one at the front and two at the back. You can attach the Carry strap accessory to these loops. The carry strap is adjustable in length to fit your posture.

  Is Coral Slide Pro airline-approved?

  No, Coral Slide Pro is not airline-approved. The airplane seat belt doesn't fit under the soft carrier, preventing safe installation.

  What do I do if my Maxi-Cosi product needs to be repaired?

  If your Maxi-Cosi product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will either send you a replacement part or make a repair free of charge under our 24-month warranty or Lifetime Warranty. This also covers the cost of shipping. If the product cannot be repaired, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Maxi-Cosi of the same model and colour.

   

  If that is not available, it will be replaced by the closest model and available colour. If you made your purchase from a Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer, please take the item back to them to arrange for it to be repaired or replaced free of charge. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team. You’ll need your original purchase receipt and your Lifetime Warranty card if you are claiming under our Lifetime Warranty. If you are claiming under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need your original purchase receipt. Please note that repairs do not extend the warranty.

  What if I need a repair that is not covered under warranty?

  Repairs not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual. If you bought the item second-hand you are also unable to claim under warranty.

   

  We’re committed to reducing waste and we want you to enjoy your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible. That’s why we offer a repairs service for all our customers. We keep repair costs as low as possible, but prices will vary due to the cost of the materials and the length of time it takes to do the repair. Repair rates can be obtained via your retailer or from our customer care team here. If the repair exceeds the standard rate you will be notified and asked for your authorization before we’ll proceed. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, which can help you to enjoy using your Maxi-Cosi product for as long as possible.

  How do I send my Maxi-Cosi in for repair?

  It’s easy to send your Maxi-Cosi for a repair. If you bought it from an authorized dealer, take it back to them. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team.. Remember, if you are claiming the repair under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need to show proof of purchase. If you are claiming it under our Lifetime Warranty, you’ll need proof of purchase and your Lifetime Warranty card, which was sent to you after registration.   How long will my repair take?

  We understand that life without your Maxi-Cosi product could be challenging for you and your family. That’s why we do our best to make repairs as quickly as possible. Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days, not including:

   

  • Special order parts, which require 7-10 business days.
  • Transit time, which may vary, depending on the destination.

  In some cases, we can get the repair back to you sooner. In rare cases, it may take longer. If you have returned your Maxi-Cosi product to your retailer for the repair, turnaround times may be longer.

  What is the warranty on my Maxi-Cosi product?

  When you buy a Maxi-Cosi product from our website or your Maxi-Cosi authorized dealer you can be confident that it will reach you in excellent condition. If not, we’ll put it right straight away.

  We promise that if a Maxi-Cosi product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced without charge, or a spare part will be sent to you.

  What is covered under warranty?

  • Wheels that have worn down through regular use.
  • The natural fading of colours over extended time and use.

  As part of our commitment to sustainability, we aim to help you extend the lifecycle of your Maxi-Cosi. So if your Maxi-Cosi product is damaged as a result of normal wear and tear or an accident, you can take advantage of our value for money repair service. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, to help your Maxi-Cosi product continue to be enjoyed for longer.
