Safety comes as standard with the RodiFix S i-Size. Built to today’s highest i-Size safety standards, the group 2/3 car seat features extra high wings on both sides for increased side impact protection. Patented AirProtect® safety cushions in the headrest further protect your child and reduce the risk of head injury by up to 20%, while the improved G-CELL Side Impact Protection in the high back booster seat is engineered to spread the forces of an impact away from your child, to reduce injury especially around the head, neck and shoulders.

RodiFix S i-Size is designed to be easy. With ISOFIX connectors it’s easy to install the group 2/3 car seat into your car. With no armrests to get in the way, buckling-up is always quick and hassle-free. So easy in fact, independent children can buckle-up themselves. You can’t stop your child from growing up so fast but you can keep up with them, as this ISOFIX car seat’s adjustable design grows both in height and width. Can I replace or blow up the AirProtect cushions?
The AirProtect cushions are developed with shock absorbing foam in a perforated air pillow. Because of the perforation, they cannot blow up. The air cushions cannot be replaced, as they are integrated in the head rest of the car seat.
I dropped my car seat on the floor. Do I need to replace it now?
No, this is not necessary unless you dropped the car seat from a large height. When a car seat drops from a small heigth, this is not comparable with a (serious) crash and it will not have to be replaced. I you have any doubts, please reach out to our consumer care team.
When do I have to switch from a toddler seat (up till 105 cm/4 year/group 1) to a belted booster (from 100cm/3,5 year/group 2/3) car seat?
For the safety of your child we advise to use a toddler car seat (group 1) as long as possible. Switch to a belted booster (group 2/3) car seat when your child has reached the maximum weigth or the shoulders of the child touch the headrest in highest possition. As long as the head is fully supported by the car seat, we advise not to switch. This will ensure the best protection of your child.
Do 3 car seats fit in the back of my car?
The width of the RodiFix S i-Size is only 44cm, it is a very compact car seat and is in width adjustable to fit bigger children. If 3 seats can fit in your car is depending on the type of car you have. In large cars, usually 3 car seats fit next to each other. We advise to bring your car to your baby speciality store for the best advise which car seat(s) fit in your car. It is important that each seats is correctly installed.
Can I install a car seat in the front passenger seat?
Baby- and toddler car seats can also be installed in the front passenger seat, as long as there is no frontal airbag or it can be disabled. For car seats for larger children (15 months until 12 years) we advise to position the passenger seat in the most backward position, when a airbag is present.
Is it safe to use a second hand car seat?
We advise not to use a second hand car seat. For second hand car seats, it is usually not clear what is it's history. You don't know how the seat has been used and if it was involved in an accident. Car seats that we in an accident, cannot guarantee safety in the future. The car seat can also be damaged in another way, visible or invisible. Do you want to use a second hand car seat? Please ensure that you use a car seat from which you know the history, for example from family or friends.
Why do I need a car seat?
The use of an approved car seat is legally obligated for children in Europe that are smaller then 1.35 meter. Some countries even use a minimum length of 1.5 meter.

Can I install the RodiFix S i-Size in a rearward facing position?
No, the RodiFix S i-Size can only be used in a forward facing position.
Can I install the RodiFix S i-Size without the ISOFIX anchorages?
For toddler car seats (up to the age of 4 with the harness/group 1), the product must be installed using ISOFIX anchorages and the top-tether. From the age of 4 to 12 with the car seatbelt (group 2/3), the ISOFIX anchorages are optional. We recommend that the ISOFIX installation method is used, as this makes the seat more stable. For example, when driving on a roundabout, the seat and the child will stay in place and not move.
How long can I use the RodiFix S i-Size car seat?
The RodiFix S i-Size is designed for children of approximately 3.5 years to 12 years (or between 100 and 150cm), so more than 8 years! To ensure the safety of your child(ren) during the entire lifespan of the car seat, make sure that the product is not damaged.
Is the RodiFix S i-Size adjustable in width?
Yes, the RodiFix S i-Size is adjustable in witdh from 44 cm to 51 cm, easily by pushing the 2 side wings to the outside.
How much can the RodiFix S i-Size recline?
The RodiFix S i-Size has 3 relaxing recline positions, so your child will always be cosy & comfy on the move. The recline angle is from 8-16 degrees.
How can I put this car seat in a recline position?
In the middle and the front of the seat you can find an open space to put your hand and just pull the seat to the front, when you want a relaxing position. This can only be done without a child in the seat.
What is the function of the Airprotect cushions?
The AirProtect® Safety cushions are not only protective, they are soft too and provide cushioning for little sleepyheads.
What is the tallest size of a child for using the RodiFix S i-Size?
Our advice is a usage from 100-150 cm or from approximately 3.5 up to 12 years. The headrest is adjustble in 10 steps from 52,5 till 72,5 cm (measured inside from seat till top of the headrest)
