Jay comes with straps to attach around the seat and the backrest of dining chairs making it compatible with most of them. Always securely attach it using the straps for safe and stable use. For optimal safety, we recommend using it on chairs that are at least 34 cm wide and have a backrest that is at least 21 cm high. Dining armchairs are unfortunately incompatible with Jay as it’s then not possible to secure the straps around the seat and backrest.

The tray mechanism, which allows you to easily remove and adjust the tray from the booster, is made of metal. Therefore, we do not recommend washing the tray in the dishwasher, as it could damage the mechanism and cause rust. Don’t worry, we’ve thought about it and made the surface of the tray completely smooth with no crevices, making it super easy to wipe clean!

You can start using Jay with your child once they can sit unaided and hold their head up by themselves. Each child is different, but this typically occurs around 6 months old.

Yes, it is safe to use Jay on any type of floor because it has rubber on the bottom to prevent sliding. When in floor seat mode, only use Jay on the floor and not on a table or high surface.
