Jay Plus comes with straps that can attach around the seat and backrest of most dining chairs. Always securely attach it using the straps to make sure it doesn't move and keeps your child safe. For optimal safety, we recommend using it on chairs that are at least 34 cm wide and have a backrest that is at least 21 cm high. Unfortunately, dining armchairs cannot be used with Jay Plus as it’s not possible to secure the straps around the seat and backrest.

The tray mechanism, which allows the tray to be easily removed from the booster and adjusted, is made of metal. Therefore, we don't recommend putting the tray in the dishwasher as it could damage the mechanism and cause rust. Don’t worry though, we've made the surface of the tray completely smooth with no crevices, meaning it's extremely easy to wipe clean!

Your child can start using Jay Plus once they are able to sit unaided and hold their head up by themselves. Each child is different, but this normally happens at around 6 months old.

The Jay Plus activity tray is fully compatible with the Jay Plus tray. Simply click the activity tray into the tray, and your child can start having fun! Removing it is just as easy: pull and lift up the two strips on the activity tray. It’s that simple!

We recommend washing the activity tray by hand.

To ensure maximum safety and stability for Jay Plus, whether it's being used with or without the tray, the Jay Plus tray should be stored separately and not on the product. Don't worry though – it’s flat and compact so won't take up much space.

Yes, it is safe to use Jay Plus on any type of floor because it has rubber on the bottom to prevent sliding. When in floor seat mode, only use Jay Plus on the floor and not on a table or high surface.
