If your child car seat has been in an accident, you can’t be sure that it’s still safe. Even if you can’t see any damage, it may not function properly. That’s why we came up with our Car Seat Swap Service.
Depending on the circumstances we can swap your car seat for a brand new one, free of charge and regardless of how old or out of warranty it is. We want you to be confident again that your child is traveling safely.
Which car seats will we swap?
This service is available for all Maxi-Cosi car seats that need to be replaced after an accident. Our consumer care team will determine when replacement is needed.
What proof of the accident do we need to see?
When you call, our consumer care team will ask you some questions to determine the circumstances of the collision. If your car seat needs to be replaced, we will need some additional information from you to swap it including:
• your completed insurance claim form and/or the police report
• photographs of your vehicle after the accident
• a completed Maxi-Cosi accident form, which we will send you
• the car seat from the accident
What will you get in return?
• a brand new car seat, similar to the one in the accident, sent as quickly as possible so your child can travel safely
• free collection and delivery
